Gorakhpur Railway Station, Uttar Pradesh – 2nd largest railway station in India 2023

Gorakhpur Junction in Uttar Pradesh with a platform length of 1,366 metres, helds the previous record of world’s longest railway platform. But in the 2021 this place is taken by Hubli Railway station.

    I think you are outdated in 2022, longest railway platform has been updated in March 2021 already and it’s not Gorakhpur platform anymore…it is Hubli railway junction, Karnataka.

    Vijayawada isn’t the largest railway junction (i.e. ignoring terminals or city stations like NDLS) – Gorakhpur for example has 10 platforms and 28 tracks which are more than Vijaywadas tracks
